Welcome to Day 1 of the Christmas in July Blog Party! Today’s topic is Deck the Halls.
I love to decorate my house for Christmas. Each year it seems I start to put my decorations up earlier and earlier. I usually go from Halloween straight into Christmas, sorry Thanksgiving! Since I bought my first house a few years ago, I have opted to make many of my decorations instead of buy them. It saves me a lot of money, plus it helps me customize my decorations into one color scheme throughout the house.
There are tons of Christmas decorations to make every year: wreaths, table runners, throw rugs, afghans, the list can go on and on. I’ve tried to include a little bit of everything in this post. Some of these decorations are super simple to make while others will take a little time. So what better time to start than today!
