It is so nice to go into a craft store and find bargains. I just love those days. While I usually shop at AC Moore, I have been a little disappointed with their selection and service lately. Maybe it is just my local store, but it has caused me to go a little farther down the road to Michaels.
In the past I have found that Michaels is a little more expensive than AC Moore, but my mind was changed on Saturday when I found several awesome items in the dollar bin, like these super cute cupcake paper goods.
I really could have bought the entire bin, but I settled on a journal (for my craft and Etsy shop notes), large note cards, and mini note cards. I love the saying that is on the journal and mini note cards too: Be Calm and Have a Cupcake. Words to live by. š
I also picked up some yellow and white flower porcelain knobs for my bathroom cabinets and drawers.
I’ve been looking for yellow knobs since I bought my house three years ago. Who knew Michaels would have them, and for a dollar a piece. I’m so glad I didn’t buy the yellow knobs from the Anthropologie catalog. They are super cute but are also $8.00 a piece. I did my entire bathroom for $7.00! Ooh, I love a bargain.

Doesn't Michaels have some of the cutest stuff now? I bought some great black and white damask filing folders for my etsy shop receipts, some cute damask packing tape and I bought these adorable Mary Engelbreit cupcake liners that I'm thinking about using for the Mad Tea Party.
