A few weeks ago I posted a shadowbox WIP.
Everyone had such great ideas of what to put in my shadowbox. In the end, I went with Laurie‘s idea of “a small collection”.
I scoured my house looking for a small collection of something, and came across some old skeleton keys that I had bought several years ago from Pottery Barn.
They are a little large, but I think they look pretty good.
I did have the hardest time figuring out how to hang them up, especially since they are pretty heavy. I came up with using a few straight pins, strategically placed around each key.
You really can’t see them unless you get right in front of them. So, I’ll just have my visitors stand several feet back to admire my wall art, like they do at the art galleries. 🙂

Hi Missy:
Keys were a cool idea for your frame, and they look great! Have a great day.

Ooh, I love it! Good job! I'd like that for my own family room, as a matter of fact…
